Summer Riding Camps
Week-long Horseback Riding Camps, Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 2pm.
June 9 – 13: “Introduction to Horses”, Beginner Riding Camp
June 16 – 20: “Horsin’ Around”, Beginner Riding Camp
July 7- July 11: “Horses thru History”, Intermediate Riding Camp
July 21 – 25: “Fairy Tales”, Beginner Riding Camp
½ Day Riding Camps, Tuesday to Thursday from 9 am to noon.
June 24-26: “Ways of the West”, Intermediate Western Riding Camp
July 15-17: “Tally Ho”, Intermediate English Riding Camp
August 5-7: “Tiny Tots”, Young Riders Riding Camp open to ages 5-8.
July 17-19: “Mom and Me”- 3 day mother/daughter riding camp on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
July 28-Aug.1: “Overnight Delight”- Overnight horseback riding camp for ages 10 and up. $350/week.
Equestrian camps are a wonderful way for a child to discover the world of horses.
Beginning Riding Camps cover an introduction to the horse, safety, horse care, grooming,
saddling, and basic riding skills, with a different theme for each week. Intermediate
camps are for the more experienced rider, and focus on a specific discipline or
skills. Campers must be able to tack their own horse, ride independently, and trot
comfortably on a loose rein. Horse and equipment are provided. Children should wear
jeans and sturdy shoes. Cost for week-long camps is $225 per child. ½ day camps
are $130/child. Campers must be at least 8 years old for all camps except the Tiny
Tots Camp. Register early as space is limited. Register for these camps on
